Other Helios nominees included dance instructor Amy Richardson and artist Benjamin Russell.Both Smith and Plante were chosen from among their peers to be honored by the city of Yuma Parks, Arts, and Recreation Commission (PARC). Smith was nominated for her outstanding leadership in resurrecting and restoring the Yuma Fine Arts Association (YFA), which almost became defunct about one year ago.With support from the city of Yuma and the broader community, a new board of trustees was created with Smith leading the vital mission to save YFA. The organization under Renee's leadership has thrived, grown and YFA has resumed its busy event and exhibition schedule."It is important to bring art to Yuma," Smith said. URL:.chinanews.com.cn/fz/2013/10-19/5399819.shtml　　“土豪”賭波最大一注過百萬　　順德陳村警方破獲一起特大網絡賭球案11人落網 涉案金額超千萬　　順德警方昨日通報，存倉陳村派出所在順德區公安局的協助下，成功破獲一起特大網絡賭球案，抓獲賭博團伙成員11人，凍結贓款100余萬元，現場查扣銀行卡、電腦、手機、賬本等涉案物品一大批，涉案金額超過1000萬元。目前，該團伙中朱某等8人因涉嫌開設賭場罪被逮捕、2人被取保候審、1人被教育釋放。　　據介紹，抓獲的11人都比較有錢，部分成員甚至開法拉利、保時捷級別的豪車，“到目前為止，所有成員都沒有悔意，認為自己有正當賺錢渠道，賭球只是‘小遊戲’而已。”辦案人員陳警官介紹。　　案情：賭徒兩月輸掉24萬元　　這一“富豪賭球圈”是在6月初被發現的，陳村派出所民警偵查到， 朱某(男，32歲，佛山禪城人)等一伙不法分子分別在佛山市禪城區、南海區和順德區陳村鎮利用網絡進行賭博。　　8月30日凌晨，陳村派出所出動警力110多人，在禪城、南海、陳村等地同時展開抓捕， 一舉抓獲朱某等涉案人員11人，現場查扣作案電腦、手機、賬本、銀行卡等涉案物品一大批，凍結贓款100余萬元。　　據調查，去年底，犯罪嫌疑人吳某(男，29歲，佛山南海人) 等人通過境外賭博網站組織賭球，主要以歐洲五大足球聯賽的賽果作為投注對象。該“富豪賭球圈”下注大方，其中“代理”朱某收到的最大一筆投注達130萬元，而每次代理投注朱某能獲得1%的傭金，共獲利約4.88萬元。而朱某的下線傅某從今年6月1日至8月27日，通過3個會員賬號共投注485次，投注金額達168.663萬元，結果兩個多月就輸了24萬元。為了賺錢，傅某也通過介紹發展下線投注，從中收取傭金，共接受投注134多萬元儲存獲利8萬多元。　　賭球集團揭秘：　　隱秘：網站賬號密碼常常換　　根據警方掌握的資料，此11人組成的“富豪賭球圈”，絕大多數成員都屬於收入極高的“土豪一族”。因為警方不斷高壓掃賭，加上都是社會成功人士，所以採取極其隱秘的方式進行網絡賭博，而且該賭博網站還經常更換網址、賬號和密碼以防止公安機關偵查，其組織結構嚴密，成員間連打電話都用“暗語”。　　因為是“富豪賭球圈”，不同于其他賭球集團，如果只是欠一兩萬元的“小錢”，一般只是一到兩個月才進行資金交收，只有上了十幾萬元甚至幾十萬元的額度，才會在一周時間內完成交收。　　暗號：“一蚊雞”代表一萬元　　另外，該網站通過預支信用額度套牢賭客，形成“不花錢就可以賭博贏錢”的假象。每個成員都會被上級賦予一個虛擬的信用額度，成員在信用額度之內就可以任意下注，而不必使用現金，讓很多人心存“空手套白狼”的僥倖心理。另外，每場賭局都通過網上投注和銀行賬戶資金結算的方式進行運作，形式非常隱蔽。　　如果萬一無法上網，被迫要用電話聯繫，該集團還會使用“暗語”，“比如用英文的ABC表示數字，一個B就是1000元；還有更獨特的暗語，比如下‘一蚊’，外人聽見以為只下注一元，其實是足足下了一萬元人民幣。”辦案民警陳警官說道。　　賭球組織嚴密只能單線聯繫　　為防止被“一窩端”，此“富豪賭球圈”採取的是樹狀結構單線聯繫，會員分為三級制度，“總代理”、“代理”、“成員”，每一級都可以發展下線。在結構中，除了“總代理”，其餘所有人只認識自己的一個上線和自己發展的下線，線與線之間的人員互相不認識，即使在每一條線本身，會員也不知道自己上級的上級身份。　　會員之間從不聚會，所有人都在一個網址下參與賭球。根據目前掌握的情況，除了被抓的11個核心成員外，還有100多名會員。　　(記者曾毅 通訊員羅利鵬、梁曉茵)迷你倉

The gearbox has been reprogrammed for better response, resulting in an improvement in 0-100kmh timing (5.7 seconds versus 6.1 originally) as well as better fuel economy.In the chassis, both the double- wishbone front axle and the integral rear axle are now made largely from aluminium. This allows the spring and damper systems to respond with great precision to road ruts.You would not expect these modifications to amount to much. But they actually do, surprisingly.The 5er looks quite elegant after its nip and tuck. More modern and classy, without the "shout from the mountain top" effect that others try to achieve by reworking, almost forcibly, an existing identity.Yet, the revisions do not diminish the value of pre-facelift 5-series cars, simply because the cars still look essentially the same.The drive, however, is noticeably better. Whatever BMW has done to the drivetrain and chassis works. The ride is half a notch smoother, with more controlled movements over humps and other surface undulations.Noise and vibration levels from the road have also come down.With its modified ratios, the car's eight-speed transmission seems more attuned to the demands of urban motoring. This suits the car just fine on the track, as does the additional juice it gets from around 5,000rpm.On public roads, you will have to be content with the more apparent aural feedback, and the knowledge that the car has more power.Of course, the M5's value proposition of delivering high precision motoring and high-octane performance on a fairly accessible platform is still very much intact.Tweaks elsewhere are cosmetic and largely similar to what you see on the 5er sedan.The M5's leather steering wheel gets a new design though, with the third vertical spoke that mimics the twin-spoke rim design of its alloy wheels.The wheel design, by the way, shows off the car's enormous brake discs. You can make yours more distinctive by picking ceramic brakes, now available as an option.On the whole, the M5 is clearly overkill for most folks. Especially when the far less expensive 535i already offers such a high level of driveability and enjoyment. 楚天都市報訊 最近，自存倉關於長假如何安排的爭論，在網絡持續火熱。現行長假安排為人們所詬病：一是數量不足。一些人對長假制度不滿意，並非是認為長假不好，而是因為長假不夠；二是分佈不均。兩個黃金周之間相隔達8個月，這也是造成長假外出出現“井噴”的直接誘因。而要標本兼治地解決此問題，亟需制定一個長假安排“升級版”。在筆者看來，升級的主要原則是增加並均衡安排長假。這裡有兩個思路可供參考：其一，在現行安排基礎上增加兩個黃金周，一是恢複“五一”黃金周，二是在7、8月間增加一個黃金周。這樣每年基本保證了每個季度都有一個黃金周。其二，分散和多元小長假安排，比如施行每周6天工作制，周末休1天，這樣每月就節餘了4天左右的假期，集中在每個月末放1個小長假。這樣每年除春節所迷你倉月份便有11個4天左右的小長假。當然，具體的安排和細節問題，還需要進一步結合傳統慣例和文化心理，以作更為詳細的論證與周全的安排。這樣安排的好處在於：其一，可以大力滿足人民群�日益增長並不斷強化的出行、旅遊和消費剛性需求。人們一年四季都有長假機會飽收各地各時段美景，可以充分並且全方位地滿足出行需求。其二，有利於拉動內需，穩固“假日經濟”；其三，有效錯開相對集中的節假日出行，減輕交通、旅遊等行業的壓力。調整後的安排可以達到“以時間換空間”的效果，有效減輕“人滿為患”的“黃金粥”問題。應對長假亂象，近年來也有不少探索，但這些似乎都未能起到“立竿見影”的作用。要想標本兼治地應對此問題，打造長假安排“升級版”應是“源頭活水”。徐頑強 華中科技大學管理學教授mini storage
