Regulations on Access to Kiosks Violate Federal Law, Organization SaysWASHINGTON, Jan.mini storage 22, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Federation of the Blind (NFB), the oldest and largest nationwide organization of blind people, filed suit (case number:1:14-cv-00085) in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia today against the United States Department of Transportation (DOT). The suit challenges regulations, issued by the DOT under the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA), which purport to require that airline check-in kiosks be made accessible to airline passengers who are blind. The regulations, which took effect on December 12, 2013, require only 25 percent of airport check-in kiosks to be accessible to blind passengers by ten years from that date. The NFB maintains that this requirement fails to implement the ACAA as Congress intended. The ACAA prohibits discrimination against passengers with disabilities by airlines. The legislative record shows that when it passed the law, Congress intended that the only permissible restrictions on access to air travel would be directly related to the safety of all passengers. Among other things, by allowing continued discrimination against the blind by the airlines on a matter not related to safety, the agency violated the law, the suit claims. Kiosks can be made accessible to the blind in the same way that ATMs and other customer service devices (such as ticket-purchasing kiosks used by Amtrak and other transit agencies) are already made accessible: by affixing Braille labels, installing headphone jacks, and adding speech software that provides audio prompts to the user. Yet the Department of Transportation violated the law by allowing continued discrimination against blind passengers based on spurious assertions by the airline industry that making kiosks accessible will cost too much and take a decade. Furthermore, the regulations will only require 25 percent of these kiosks to be made accessible; apparently 75 percent discrimination against blind people is acceptable to the DOT. The agency also failed to make the information it gathered from airlines available until these regulations were issued, which also violated federal law and denied blind Americans the opportunity to challenge the airlines' assertions. 南方日報訊 (記者/何建文 通訊員/尤思遠)作為東莞公路出行的主力,東莞市汽車總站預計今年春運發送旅客108萬人次。近日,筆者獲悉,為應對春運期間可能出現的雨雪冰凍天氣,造成旅客滯留,東莞市汽車總站和萬江中小學校提前設立臨時安置點。市汽車總站將文化室、職工宿舍、食堂等零時改作旅客臨時安置點,並對宿舍進行統一的改造,不僅有床鋪,每個房間還有獨立的衛生間和熱水供應。據瞭解,目前市汽車倉站有9個房間,每個房間提供7個床位,如果在春運期間,出現雨雪天氣和道路班車延誤等就可提供給旅客住宿。市汽車總站後勤工作人員介紹,車站備有15張毛毯、棉被20張、60-70張草席,隨時讓有需要的乘客使用。目前據氣象部門預計,今年春運期間冷空氣頻繁,有可能會出現旅客滯留問題,對此,萬江有關部門也將市汽車總站附近的黃岡理想學校、實驗小學作為後備安置區,屆時學校將提供課室及操場用來分流客流。24小時迷你倉

澳門七位委員 聚焦絲綢之路

去年來澳旅客逾二千九百萬人次 增4%當局料來年續放緩
【專訪】旅遊局局長文綺華昨日表示,去年入境旅客為二千九百多萬人次,增長百分之四,她並預料今年旅客增長將放緩。同時,今年旅遊局首要重任是配合做好亞太經合組織旅遊部長會議。 旅遊局昨日上午十一時假旅遊塔會展娛樂中心舉行年度記者招待會,旅遊局局長文綺華在會上回顧去年旅遊業情況。據介紹,去年澳門的入境旅客人數達二千九百多萬人次,較前年同期上升百分之四。大中華旅客超過二千六百萬人次,增長百分之五,國際旅客跌百分之三,但留宿旅客及酒店住客均有增長,全年留宿旅客增百分五,首十一個月的酒店住客人數更有雙位增幅,為百分之十二點。 她表示,內地、香港和台灣仍然位居三大客源地。去年內地旅客一千八百多萬人次,增長達百分之十,其中四成四的內地旅客來自廣東省。國際旅客方面,俄羅斯市場表現較好,增幅為百分之十三。去年澳門留宿旅客超過一千四百萬,佔整體旅客百分之四十九,增幅為百分之五。首十一個月的酒店住客人數九百七十多萬,佔留宿旅客七成,增長百分之十二點三。其中印度、內地及韓國旅客入住酒店人數增長最大,增幅分別為百分之三十一、十八及十七。全年留宿旅客的平均逗留日數為一點九(日),與二零一二年持平。一至九月的總旅客消費為三百七十三億美元,較同期增長百分之十點七。 文綺華稱,酒店方面,首十一個月的全澳酒店場所平均入住率為百分之八十二點五,較二零一二年同期微降百分零點八個百分點;全年三至五星級平均房價為一百八十四點五美元,上升百分之四點一。首十一個月的隨團入境旅客為八百九十多萬人次,較前年同期上升迷你倉旺角分之八點一,其中泰國、澳洲及內地的團客增長最多,分別有百分之二十四、二十一及十五增幅。現時,澳門有一百零二間酒店場所,當中四十六間為經濟型住宿場所,合共提供二萬八千八百個房間,其中一千五百間為經濟型住宿場所房間。 她表示,去年,旅遊局轄下的旅遊諮詢處共接待近一百二十七萬人次旅客查詢、索取資料及表達意見。打擊非法住宿方面,跨部門工作小組全年巡查一千二百多個次單位,封印了一百四十九個單位,解封了一百三十五個單位;旅遊局對七十五名經營者、三十名招攬者及四名管理人展開制裁程序,收到五百五十宗舉報/投訴。 文綺華又介紹了今年工作重點,她表示,今年旅遊局設五個工作重點,一、展開旅遊規劃研究,優化整體旅遊環境;二、加強行業培訓管理,提升旅遊服務素質;三、延續社區旅遊計劃,拓展多元旅遊產品;四、啟動系列推廣活動,構建特色旅遊形象;五、參與國際區域合作,強化傳媒公眾溝通。 她續稱,有關重點工作包括:開展「旅遊業發展總體規劃」的制訂工作,包括《旅遊業發展總體規劃》案例研究及澳門旅遊業發展簡史等;設立專責小組優先處理經濟型旅館的牌照申請;持續打擊非法提供住宿活動,展開家庭旅館合法化的研究;推出「星級旅遊服務認可計劃」;為「澳門旅遊產品發展計劃」添新元素,如開發路環棚屋等;拓展高鐵沿線的客源市場及推動新興市場-俄羅斯;通過區域合作平台,拓展相互具優勢的旅遊項目,打造特色聯線旅遊;計劃開發「電子實用旅遊訊息平台」;為旅遊局刊物創建流動設備應用程式及改革刊物《澳門旅遊》,加強網上版內容等。◇mini storage

四川南充欲3年內為4個國貧縣“摘帽”

《新聞分析》整頓問題金融 曾銘宗殺雞儆猴
金管會主委曾銘宗本月10日丟出金融機構違法、背信,最重可能「撤照」的重大宣示,不到兩周,安多利投信立即被廢除營業許可,成為國內首家被撤照的投信公司,儘管資本額3億元、只有兩檔基金,但金管會的動作,擺明是項莊舞劍,警示其他問題金融機構的意味濃厚。曾銘宗去年8月接任金管會主委後,行事作風明確,對於金融機構獎懲也相當明快,對於可以開放、應該獎勵的,曾銘宗回應即快;但對於殺價競爭、違法犯紀的金融機構,他也不假辭色,強調可能停止業務、要總經理進偵察室,甚至最嚴重要撤照。安多利投信欠缺專業投資人已是陳年問題,從民國93年金管會成立初期,就出現大華證券將股權賣給不符合資格的券商,金管會一路要求當時的傳山投信(安多利的前身)改善,直到民國98年,好不容易才找到陽信銀行self storage股,二年後陽信銀又賣回給當初出售股份的自然人,金管會罰安多利投信二年內不得新募基金,當時安多利投信就已算是半僵屍投信,只能維持既有的基金,無法再擴充新業務。金融機構要撤照並不容易,如銀行、壽險等,客戶存款、借款及保單等,不是馬上就能移轉給其他公司,撤照就等於公司立即消滅,在銀行及壽險上,可能不太容易使用,只能接管,但對投顧、保險經紀人、保險代理人來說,撤照隨時都可能做到,因為沒有什麼資產負債需移轉,也不會有太多金融消費者權益問題。對安多利投信遭到撤照,意在警告那些遲遲不增資,總是跟金管會討價還價、意圖不斷拖延改善期間的金融機構,還有那些背信、違法犯紀的經理人,不要以為大不了就是罰款、停職、撤換經理人,金管會在評估各種「配套」後,也可能讓金融機構快速退場。迷利倉

記者胡萍近日,重慶水務發佈公告稱,“公司掛牌轉讓股權的最終受讓方為國壽投資控股有限公司(以下簡稱“國壽投資”)。公告顯示,重慶水務持有的重慶國際信托有限公司(以下簡稱“重慶信托”)23.self storage86%的股權共計58180萬股以每股4.17元的底價通過重慶聯合產權交易所掛牌征集受讓方進行轉讓。交易完成後,國壽投資將成為重慶信托的第二大股東。中國人民大學信托與基金研究所執行所長邢成在接受本報記者採訪時說:“險資與信托相互持股的案例日益增多,據不完全統計,重慶信托或許是繼平安信托、中誠信托、國投信托之後又一家有保險背景的信托公司。”險資入股信托原因何在?對於連月來接連兩起保險資金入股信托公司的事件,信托業內人士表示,險資的注入一方面有利於進一步優化信托公司的股權結構;另一方面有利於豐富信托產品,同時分散風險。邢成分析認為:“就信托而言,近一段時期以來,無論是信托業年會上的領導講話,還是銀監會監管工作會議上,都對信托淨資本管理提出明確要求,信托公司解決淨資本約束問題迫在眉睫,特別是對於資本規模不太雄厚的信托公司來說,如果有資金實力強的公司伸出橄欖枝,對信托公司則將是優勢互補,形成戰略多元的格局。”那麼,保險資金入股信托原因何在?邢成認為,一方面,這是在當前泛資管背景下的必然選擇。“目前,全牌照或多金融牌照的金融控股公司越來越意識到信托的重要性。如果缺少信托牌照,金融控股公司是不完整的,因此,有實力的保險公司入主信托公司,恰是彌補金融板塊中的短板。”邢成說。事實上,險企跨行業的布局已現端倪。以泰康人壽為例,2012年底,泰康人壽曾與中信信托完成了業內首筆“信保業務合作”———泰康人壽出資9.68億元認購“中信·聚信匯金地產基金1號集合資金信托計劃”優先級信托產品。據悉,截至2012年末,泰康人壽並表總資產4141.9億元,歸屬母公司淨資產207.4億元,實現歸屬母公司淨利潤約19.5億元。2012年泰康人壽保費收入行業排名第五,保險資產管理規模達5000億元。另一方面,對保險的業務模式和產品創新而言,入股信托或是突破口之一。邢成表示,金融機構中普遍存在盈利模式困局,保險就是其中之一。新的盈利點如何突破?如何給保費找到更合規合法、更符迷利倉市場規律的出口?顯然,入股信托有利於更深層次的信保合作,進一步凸顯保險的資管功能,為保險資金找到好出口。哪種類型信托公司易獲險資青睞?據業內人士介紹,由於信托行業股東背景複雜,保險公司進入並不容易,有央企、國企背景的信托公司或許更容易與險資對接。目前有險企背景的信托公司,平安信托依托平安集團,中誠信托大股東為中國人保,國投信托引入泰康人壽,重慶信托引入國壽投資,後兩者的大股東分別為國家開發投資公司和重慶國信投資控股有限公司。“從保險公司角度看,有實力的大型保險公司希望有與它體制機制匹配的信托公司,信托的盈利能力、市場地位、規範程度等都是保險關注的方面;而信托公司的興趣點則是帶有金融牌照又有央企、國企背景的保險公司,再加上如果信托公司自身對保險資金相對需求強烈,又有引進戰投或增資擴股的需求,這樣雙方契合度高,自然一拍即合。”邢成說。信保合作能否有所突破?正如邢成上述分析,以做全牌照金融為目標的大型保險公司,將通過參股信托實現公司跨行業的擴張。對於信保合作,保監會發佈的《關於保險資金投資有關金融產品的通知》中要求,“擔任受托人的信托公司應當具有完善的公司治理、良好的市場信譽和穩定的投資業績,上年末經審計的淨資產不低於30億元人民幣”。這種業務層面的信保合作,邢成認為屬於淺層次的信保合作針對目前的信保合作現狀,邢成說:“並不理想,更多體現在股權層面和組織架構層面。另外,信保合作還體現在雙方在產品組合、投資共享、渠道共享等方面,如平安保險與平安信托之間就採取這種模式,畢竟保險的銷售網絡和渠道是信托公司比不了的。”當前的信保合作,股權層面合作有了,業務層面的保險資金購買信托產品有了,資源綑綁渠道共享有了,那麼,信保合作更大的突破點在哪兒?邢成表示,在產品創新和產品功能上,信保合作應該實現高層次的突破。他建議,信托借鑒國外經驗,推出保險信托,“這是更深層次的產品創新,應該是信保合作的高級階段。也就是說,假如某投保人投了5000萬元的險種,出險後受益人拿到5000萬元,他可以跟信托進行鏈接,把賠付的保費變為信托產品,通過信托代為理財,從而使其資產 保值增值,這在國外是很成熟的產品,而且對投保人來說也有一定現實意義和需求。”邢成說。迷你倉

New UNC athletic director ready to face challenges
Source: Greeley Tribune, Colo.迷你倉Jan. 21--University of Northern Colorado athletic director Darren Dunn has been on the job less than a month, but a CT scan would show that his brain is already chock full of numbers, meeting times, meeting numbers, personnel information, spread sheets, schedules ... yada, yada, yada.Dunn, who came to UNC from the University of Houston where he was the Deputy Athletics Director in charge of athletic communications, development, marketing and promotions, isn't yet running around like a chicken with its head cut off, but the guy's day-timer is overflowing.So far, he's been smart enough to put up a caution light when discussing some issues, but also translates his ideas and opinions with ease.The following is a short session he agreed to while sharing his first impressions and more.Q -- Have there been any items or issues that have thrown up a red flag?A -- I would say things that jumped out at me ... Do we have enough people involved? I'm primarily talking about fan support. Do we have enough people, donors, sponsors? To me that's a concern, no question. For us to be great, we're going to have to engage more people. We have to do a better job working with the student body.I'm not sure if that's marketing or if we need to make that a priority. We need to spend more time getting to know the student leaders, student government. They're important to our environment.I think our environment is stale. I think that's something that I'm worried about, thinking about. The student body is a big part of that. To me, our fan base feeds off of our student body.Q -- What else caught your attention right away?A -- Customer focus. They all tie together. Are we really focused that when a fan wants to come to our football game, so we make it easy for them? Do we entertain them while they're here? It is easy to buy tickets? My concern is with all of those things. Are we doing everything we can to make it easy on our customers to come see our events? I'm not sure we're completely customer focused. I'm still learning, but those things jump out at me. I'm sure we want to get better in a lot of areas.Q -- What's your early impression of UNC fans?A -- We've got great fans. Those who support us whether we win or lose. Whether we do a great job or a bad job with customer service. That's great. We need more of them. We need to get better at other things to make them want to come.Q -- Any aspect of UNC athletics that made you say 'Wow, that's pretty top shelf.' Something that allowed you to think you didn't need to worry about it for awhile.A -- I'm the kind of person, no matter if you're getting an A+ in anything, I'm going to set the bar higher. A lot of our coaches are doing a great job. Can they get better? If you ask them, they all think they can get better. We're going to have goals and strategies that make us better.Q -- Fundraising. In terms of dollars, money talks and without it you have nothing. Is that an area where you want to set a higher goal?A -- We have great people who handle our fundraising. It's all centralized out of the advancement office. I think athletics has to do a better job of getting involved in fundraising. Our coaches and staff want to do it. We have to engage them and get them out in the community more.Q -- Does the school the size of UNC need one or two sugar daddy's so to speak? Somebody who's way above the norm? Does this school lack that?A -- I don't think so. There's a lot of people who have been extremely philanthropic. Extremely philanthropic. Do we lack that? Not at all. Do we need more of them? Absolutely.Q -- Do you take a beating-the-bushes approach to find those people?A -- I think so. I think we have to get out of our offices. That's my job. It's our coaches jobs to coach and recruit, but in a small town or community we need them involved and our staff will embrace that. Our staff needs to get out of the office more.If I'm in my office, I'm not doing my job.Q -- You've publicly stated that there's a good coaching staff on board for all the sports. Are you more than comfortable with who you have in these offices?A -- In a lot of conversations ... we have a pretty darn good staff. They work hard, they recruit hard. The part that's important to me is that they care about the success of the student-athlete. They want to win, no question. But we're more focused than I've ever seen to see that they're academically prepared and socially prepared. All of those things, people don't look at but that's important to me. I believe (our coaches) care about the student-athlete experience.Q -- Is it safe to say that no coach here is on the hot seat?A -- I don't have a hot seat, per se. I'm evaluating everybody. I'm evaluating every person up and down this hallway, every day. I think we have a good sta自存倉f right now. Can they get better? Absolutely. They work hard, but we all need to get better."Q -- Are there enough resources to take the first step to get better?A -- There isn't one person in the country, athletically, that thinks they have enough resources. Absolutely, we could use more resources. We have to do more on our end. We have to go out meeting people and get them involved. We have to give them a product that makes them be excited to be a part of. We have to do the little things to get them to come to our events.There's a lot of options in this state. We have to make our events attractive enough to make them want to come to our events above all of the other options in the state.Q -- You are indeed up against a lot of options. Across U.S. 34 or down the road. Do you agree that it can be a tough sell?A -- How about people sitting at home watching television in their basement. The basement is one of our competitors, no question.Q -- Where to you see UNC athletics in five years? Seven years?A -- I'm a competitive person and I want to win a championship in every sport we offer.Q -- Is that really feasible?A -- Other schools do it. Stanford does it.Q -- Is it more of a possibility than a probability?A -- Well, we're fortunate with our location. We have a great market ... Denver. We have a competitive advantage vs. all other schools in the Big Sky Conference. We need to take advantage of it and we need to hit it hard. I'm not just talking about recruiting and other things. I'm talking about us.We have a lot of alumni here in Weld County, but we have more down in Denver. We can't just have functions here. I'm not saying we haven't done that, but with our athletics we need to be more aggressive. Our alumni office will do anything with us to partner on.So, can we win a championship in every sport? I think so.Q -- Do you think that market hasn't been hit as well as it could? It's all been done before. It's been on the radar.A -- We haven't done well enough here on this campus. We need to do a better job with (the students). My philosophy is that you work in-out. We need to get everybody on the same page. We need to have focus, goals that we're all aware of. We need transparency, communication and all of those things where we need to focus here first. Then we need to take a few steps outside and talk to campus folks. We have a great faculty and staff here. Then we need to go to the students. Then we need to hit Greeley. We need to do more with that.We need to provide them with reasons to want to come. We need to be involved in their area. We need to be involved in their world.In Denver, we need to get more involved with alums.Q -- How do you do that when alumni have taken the next step in their lives? Their priorities are with family, etc.?A -- It's hard. We don't have lights at our (football) stadium. We play basketball games in the middle of the week. It's hard. We have to be smarter with our scheduling. What can get families come to.If we schedule a game at 7 p.m. in he middle of the week, we can't expect a Denver family to come here. That's foolish. Even 7 p.m. on a Saturday is hard. Let's mix in an afternoon game and provide a special offer for Denver families. You have to make it special for them.Q -- Let's talk budget. It's somewhere around $11-million. Is that enough? Do you think coaching salaries here in line with where they should be?A -- They're in line so we can be competitive in the Big Sky Conference. Would our coaches like more salary? Absolutely. Just like you. They work hard. When I get here at 5 a.m., they're already here. When I leave at 7 or 8 p.m., they're still here.For us not to be successful ... budget is not an excuse for me. Would we like more in the budget? Absolutely. Before that happens, we have to start generating more revenue.That's my job. It's going to be our staff's job.Q -- It sounds like generating revenue comes into play in every category.A -- It is. Hey, the University of Texas has $150-million in revenue and that's not enough for them. Of course, we don't generate enough. We need more, but we have to generate it. Athletics has to generate it.Q -- Seems like in about six months, you're going to turn into an accountant. Your focus is about deposits, and more deposits.A -- I'm fortunate enough that we have a great business manager and great people here. It's not (just) me. They don't want me getting in the middle of it and I appreciate that.Q -- Yeah, but you're the captain of this ship.A -- My job is to generate more revenue and that our coaches stay within the budget. 以往港府房屋政策大多聚焦在新界北發展,但今回施政報告,重點由東向西轉,正式宣布在大嶼山與港島間填海發展人工島,打造以大嶼山為首的東大嶼新都會。 詳看內容,此新都會不是純以興建住宅為主的發展政策,而是配合了商業、物流、旅遊、策略性產業及住宅興建的發展概念。梁特首常言香港須建立中環及九龍西以外的第三大商貿區,比較新界北、九龍東及大嶼山發展計劃,前者較傾向為住宅性項目,九龍東及大嶼山則屬綜合性商貿發展。要成為梁特首口中的第三大商貿區,明顯地九龍東及大嶼山較有優勢,而本文就會重點分析兩地間的發展潛力。 發展近郊新市鎮如北大嶼山,應是香港未來應走之路。大嶼山極具地理位置優勢,近年不少中產遷入,已見此區吸引力。 中產遷入有何啟示?去年習主席在亞太經合峰會上強調,中國不會再以經濟增長速度論英雄,反之據以人為本的理念推動經濟發展。內地正處轉型中,從習主席口中可知,人才是經濟發展不可或缺的。有人可成事,沒人什麼都不用講。要把大嶼山和觀塘發展成為香港另一核心商貿區,區內人口的質素至關重要。這些人口由誰組成?當然是中產了。 雖然香港交通四通八達,但實情有多少人願意由西貢前往東涌,或由新界北往港島南工作呢?故此,筆者今輪以離島區(人口普查沒有獨立調查大嶼山情況,但內部居民佔離島區比例較高,故以大嶼山一名取代)及觀塘作主軸,配合周邊地區的工作人口情況作分析。 大嶼山人口質素較高 先看以地區劃分的行業佔比情況,以全港平均數為標準,表一可見,觀塘與大嶼山的工作人口同樣以建築、運輸及零售業為工作(佔當區工作人口),唯一分別就是前者於製造業的佔比較多,後者則明顯在資訊科技行業上較有優勢。 除此之外,雖然兩區的金融保險業人才相對短缺(低於全港平均),但大嶼山佔比明顯高於觀塘區。再看看鄰區情況,平均收入較低如黃大仙及葵青區等,兩地行業結構沒有明顯分別,而較富裕的九龍城及荃灣區的金融業人才相對較多。故此,以鄰區計,似乎分不了高下。若果港府希望把九龍東及大嶼山打造成綜合商貿旅遊的大都會,只以單區計算的話,大嶼山或勝一籌。 另外,中環及九龍西等能夠成為核心商貿區,除了區內有足夠的相關工作人口供應外,人口質素之高亦是關鍵。港府常言教育是未來人口質素的長遠投資,即是要發展知識型經濟,高質人才不可或缺。故此,評估人口對經濟的發展,除了觀其量外,還要看其質。看看表二的全港教育程度,觀塘區只有3.8%工作人口取得專上教育資格;相反,大嶼山則達4.7%,高於全港平均的4.4%。 至於觀塘鄰區的九龍城、西貢及黃大仙,三區的專上教育人口佔比為4.7%、4.6%及4.1%;反之,與大嶼山只有一橋之隔的荃灣區就高達4.9%,全港計更只僅次中西區及東區,似乎大嶼山今輪再勝一仗。 兩區高管人口打平手 要成為香港商貿另一核心,充足的人才當然不可缺,但擁有優秀領導人才更是邁向成功的關鍵。表三可見,以統計處劃分的職業計算,在最高收入的經理級、專業人員及輔助專業人員工作人口上,大嶼山的佔比大幅拋離觀塘區,三者合共佔近三成七,遠高於觀塘區兩成七。不過,計及周邊地區,環繞觀塘的西貢及九龍城區,其佔比分別為四成一及四成四,與荃灣區的四成四不相伯仲。故此,以單區計,大嶼山勝。但計及鄰區,只是打平手。 縱使如此,筆者還計算了其他如能說英文或外籍人士比例等數據,大多顯示大嶼山的發展潛力皆勝過觀塘及其周邊地區。 對比九龍東,大嶼山既連接內地(因就近機場),鐵路沿線亦拉近與港九商貿中心之距離,過往多年中產的遷入已可見其潛力,更不計將於2016年通車的港珠澳大橋及計劃興建連接深圳寶安國際機場的地下鐵路。以此看,以大嶼山為首,配合其他香港西部區域才是未來港府發展重點所在,九龍東只能定位為商貿核心區中的輔助角色而已,情況酷似現時灣仔及東區等二級商貿中心。大嶼山的發展潛力,實在不容忽視。交通銀行香港分行環球金融市場部劉振業mini storage

虹橋機場春運5天52萬人次進出港推出二次安檢優先等措施方便旅客
○記者張音報道新報訊春運開始以來,虹橋機場航班量和旅客量節節攀升。1月16日至20日,累計保障飛機起降3563架次、進出港旅客52.迷你倉將軍澳74萬人次,分別較去年春運同比增長11.34%和22.97%,其中春運首日進出港旅客達到11.13萬人次,打破了以往春運前期航空運量偏低的規律,實現了自上海世博會以來虹橋機場航班量、旅客量最大增幅。據虹橋機場相關部門預計,今年春運機場出港高峰將出現在1月27日至30日左右,屆時虹橋機場單日出港旅客數將突破倉萬人次,創歷史新高。虹橋機場採取多項措施,確保春運旅客出行便利。如旅客物品免費寄存和“二次安檢優享卡”等人性化服務,旅客可將非易燃易爆及非液態物品免費在安檢處寄存30天;如需補辦托運手續,旅客可憑“二次安檢優享卡”從原先通道“原出原進”、“優先過檢”,避免重複排隊等待。春運期間,虹橋機場2號航站樓出租車站點新增“出租汽車乘車提示屏”,提示從機場打車去市內多處地標的大致里程和車資費用,讓各地旅客明白消費,避免個別不良出租車司機惡意“宰”客。24小時迷你倉

新華學生香港交流取經
【本報消息】由新華學校主辦,澳門日報讀者公益基金會贊助的“飛躍進步生擴闊視野獎勵計劃”於日前順利完成。活動組織了十八名初一及初二學生到香港進行三天兩夜的參觀學習及交流活動,擴闊了學生視野,讓他們進一步瞭解自身不足,在各方面還需要不斷努力,提升自己;同時加強學生守望相助的團隊精神。行程包括參觀播導書院、則仁中心、香港中央圖書館、迪士尼樂園、黃金海岸和香港濕地公園。是次迷你倉最平流活動除了參觀兩所院舍,學生們還與播導書院的學生一起進行聖誕崇拜活動,感受濃厚的宗教節日氣氛;在迪士尼樂園,女學生們沉醉於幻象奇景的迪士尼故事之中,男同學則全情投入於各種驚險有趣的機動遊戲與歷險中,各有所好,樂在其中;香港濕地公園則讓大家靜下心來,領略箇中奇妙的生態世界,更重要的是,學生們從中增強了保育濕地的意識。這次活動極具教育意義,讓學生們增廣見聞,豐富課餘生活。迷你倉
