Foles threw for a career-high 381 yards against the Bucs last year while filling in for Vick. Tampa Bay rookie QB Mike Glennon will be making his second start after being intercepted twice in his debut. He faces the No. 27 pass defense here and a team that gives up 31.8 points a game, third-most in the NFL.EAGLES 27, BUCCANEERS 24.PACKERS AT RAVENSLine --Packers by 3Synopsis --The Packers now are minus key linebacker Clay Matthews (broken thumb), who has led the team in sacks every year he's been in Green Bay. That's a bad sign for what is the NFL's 26th-rated pass defense. Ravens QB Joe Flacco will be throwing to Torrey Smith, whose 556 receiving yards leads the AFC. Look for the Baltimore defense to try to put the heat on GB's Aaron Rogers, as Baltimore has 19 sacks -- No. 2 in the league.RAVENS 23, PACKERS 20.LIONS AT BROWNSLine --Lions by 2 1/2Synopsis --Brandon Weeden is back at QB for CLEV now that Brian Hoyer (knee injury) is out for the rest of the year. Weeden, who was struggling before being hurt early in the season and giving way to Hoyer, will work vs. the No. 20 pass defense here as the Browns go for their fourth win in a row. DET hopes to have key WR Calvin Johnson back from the knee injury that kept him from playing last week. The offense was stagnant without him in a 22-9 loss to Green Bay.BROWNS 23, LIONS 17.PANTHERS AT VIKINGSLine --Vikings by 2Synopsis --Matt Cassel is expected to start at QB for MIN as Christian Ponder has been bothered by a rib injury with newcomer Josh Freeman waiting in the wings. CAR is tough on "D" (No. 8 vs. run, No. 7 vs. pass) so it won't be easy for Vikes. But Panthers QB Cam Newton hasn't been dynamic -- team is 27th in scoring (18.5 points a game) and 24th in yards (329 a game). Vikes RB Adrian Peterson's 2-year-old son died Friday, apparently murdered, but Peterson said he'll play. But will he be able to focus?VIKINGS 23, PANTHERS 20.RAMS AT TEXANSLine --Texans by 7Synopsis --Underachieving HOU looks to take out its frustrations on STL's 23rd-rated defense. The Texans like to run the ball, and Arian Foster and company will be operating against the No. 29 run defense. Struggling Texans QB Matt Schaub should get back on track vs. a "D" that has just three interceptions. Rams are poor on the road, and their blase offense figures to struggle vs. the league's top-rated "D." Texans' only defensive liability is vs. the run (28th rated), but Rams' ground attack is not a factor -- No. 29.TEXANS 28, RAMS 16.STEELERS AT JETSLine --Jets by 1Synopsis --Normally, a rookie QB going against the PIT defense would be a bad sign, But this isn't a normal year. The Steelers are 0-4, their worst start in 45 years, and have no takeaways. So Geno Smith shouldn't be rattled, especially after leading a comeback upset win in Atlanta on Monday. PIT is coming off its bye week, so maybe it has regrouped. But QB Ben Roethlisberger will be working vs. the NFL's No. 2 pass defense, although key Antonio Cromartie has a knee injury but is expected to play.JETS 20, STEELERS 17.BENGALS AT BILLSLine --Bengals by 6 1/2Synopsis --Bills quarterback Thad Lewis, who was on the practice squad last week, is set to make his second NFL start, because EJ Manuel is hurt. That's a bad sign vs. a Cincinnati defense that already has clamped down on Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Ben Roethlisberger, holding them to a combined 63.2 passer ra迷你倉ing. However, the Bengals have been having trouble scoring lately, and the Bills are expecting get back key S Jairus Byrd from a foot injury that has kept him out all season.BENGALS 22, BILLS 17.TITANS AT SEAHAWKSLine --Seahawks by 13 1/2Synopsis --SEA seeks to bounce back from its first loss and unleashes its second-ranked ground attack against the league's No. 13 run defense. The Seahawks are tough at home (10 wins in a row) and will face a quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, who will be making his second start in place of ailing Jake Locker. Fitzpatrick will be facing the league's third-rated pass defense. The Titans would be wise to concentrate on their ground game, as Seattle is only 18th vs. the run.SEAHAWKS 27, TITANS 13.JAGUARS AT BRONCOSLine --Broncos by 27Synopsis --NFL's best team vs. worst leads to one of the biggest spreads in pro history. Denver scored the same number of points (51) last week as the Jags have produced all season. But teams favored by 19+ rarely have covered in recent years, although Seattle did not long ago as a 191/2-point choice over the Jags. DEN in ''sandwich'' spot -- between big win at Dallas and Peyton Manning's Indy homecoming -- and could have a letdown. Jags have key WR Justin Blackmon back from suspension for his second game to catch passes from Chad Henne. Ailing No. 1 QB Blaine Gabbert is out.BRONCOS 34, JAGUARS 10.CARDINALS AT 49ersLine --49ers by 10 1/2Synopsis --San Francicso has bounced back from a slow start by outscoring the Rams and Texans by a combined 69-14 figure in its last two outings and now gets defensive-minded ARIZ, which is third against the run and allows just 19 points a game. The 49ers are not the same without embattled key linebacker Aldon Smith, who is out indefinitely while in rehab and now facing criminal charges. But the Cardinals' offense ranks 30th, so focused 'Niners should handle Arizona and continue their solid run.49ers 27, CARDINALS 17.SAINTS AT PATRIOTSLine --Patriots by 2Synopsis --A gem, as marquee teams meet. NO is flying, with the Drew Brees-led offense ranked third. But it goes vs. a club allowing only 14 points a game, No. 2 in the league. Meanwhile, NO's "D" has had monumental turnabout this year under coordinator Rob Ryan, allowing just 14.6 points per outing. NE uncharacteristically struggles offensively (18th in yards, 24th in points) and is unlikely to have key TE Rob Gronkowski back from injuries for his season debut. Saints' Jimmy Graham has become the NFL's top player at that position.SAINTS 24, PATRIOTS 20.REDSKINS AT COWBOYSLine --Cowboys by 5 1/2Synopsis --Redskins QB Robert Griffin III still is looking for a breakout game following his offseason knee surgery, and this might be the spot -- Washington is rested after its bye and Dallas is 28th vs. the pass and gave up 51 points last week to Denver. Also, 'Skins running back Alfred Morris (ribs) appears set to go. Meanwhile, Cowboys QB Tony Romo is coming off a career-best passing total (506 yards) and five TDs, and Washington is only 26th vs. the pass. It looks as if a shootout is looming for this one.COWBOYS 30, REDSKINS 26.COLTS AT CHARGERSLine --Colts by 1 1/2Synopsis --Indianapolis comes off an upset victory at home over previously-undefeated Seattle but now goes on road to face inconsistent foe that lost in Oakland last week and committed five turnovers. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers leads the league's No. 5 aerial attack, but the Colts are solid against the pass. Look for breakout game here from Colts RB Trent Richardson, who will be working vs. the 28th-rated run defense. Indianapolis is 2-0 on the road, including a victory over San Francisco.COLTS 23, CHARGERS 20.CAESAR'S RECORD, TOP SELECTIONSSTRAIGHT UP --Last week: 9-5.
