"I'd like to see him stay at least 10 years."Smith said he was disappointed when O'Brien left after only two years."He preached loyalty to all his players, and (coaching at Penn State) ended up being a stepping stone for him," Smith said.Franklin is going to improve the game at Penn State, Smith predicted."I think it will bring us back up to Ohio State level," he said.----Bryan Fink of York watched the Penn State news conference Saturday afternoon.Fink, a lifelong Penn State fan, said Franklin expressed his dedication during his introduction.
